10 of the best FinTech and RegTech Awards to consider for 2021

Awards are a great way to get your market talking about your business. Last year we published 10 FinTech Awards to consider entering in 2020, which we have expanded this year to include the RegTech sector. Read on to learn how awards can help raise your profile and view the list of 10 Awards that FinTech and RegTech firms should consider for 2021 – all in date order.

If getting more of your market talking about your business is high on your agenda for 2021, awards can be a great way of standing out from the crowd. And while it can feel like a win is the only result that matters, the process of entering your company for an award has value too. Just through the submission process, you get your company on the radar of the publishing firm or industry body behind the awards. Judging panels often consist of industry journalists and senior executives and technology experts in the companies you want to target with your products or services. For a strong award entry, that meets the submission criteria, you can be sure it will be read closely by the judges.

A shortlisting for an award is an excellent result for profile-raising, with your company name listed alongside other finalists on the awards website and read out at the awards ceremony. With all the challenges of 2020, it was fantastic to see many awards continue and awards ceremonies move to online events. While the networking and celebratory elements were certainly not as rich, we saw great attendance at the awards ceremonies attended by our clients. We expect to see a hybrid next year, where awards ceremonies offer an in-person event alongside an online screening, just like the Oscars.

Winning an award is the icing on the cake, with your company name front and centre for the category you have won. In addition to being announced at the ceremony, your company name and often logo will be listed online. And there may be media opportunities for an article about your award-winning technology or an interview with your CEO. You can share the win on your social media channels and include it in an email update to your contact list, and add the award logo to your website to help build credibility with visitors who are researching your product or service.

With the benefits of applying for awards covered, let’s move onto the opportunities for 2021.
